Fifth Avenue Art Gallery welcomes the addition of Michiel Bullock and Tricia Eisen to their membership roster.
Michiel, a Florida resident for the last 40 years, is a self-taught painter focusing on traditionally representational landscapes and seascapes. He currently works in oils. Michiel says of his work, “I have found a fascination, (possibly an obsession), with the way light, shadow and color come together to bring out the drama that exists in approaching storm clouds or the strength delivered to a powerful ocean wave... or the calmness found in the early morning surf…Every day delivers a new gift of color, light and shadow to enjoy and capture with paint and canvas.”
Michiel’s paintings have been exhibited in numerous art shows throughout the state of Florida. He is also a member of Oil Painters of America.
Tricia is an almost life time resident of the Eau Gallie area. She began painting when she was in high school and was encouraged by a older artist. Eisen says “She gave me some oils, a few brushes and a canvas board and told me to go paint something I love. I did, and the love of art has never stopped from that point on… My desire is that each person who sees my work is moved to a wonderful place in their memories.”
Tricia’s work has been displayed in several galleries, business, and shows in Central Florida as well as homes world wide. She is also a member of Women Painters of The Southeast, and Fine Art America. She works in both oils and acrylics in a realistic style.
Come to First Friday on September 7, from 5:30 pm through 8:30 pm, to meet both of these new members and to see their work.
Fifth Avenue Art Gallery is in the Eau Gallie Arts District in Melbourne, FL. All events are open and free to the public.
