Mark Palmer - New Member of Fifth Avenue Art Gallery

Fifth Avenue Art Gallery is pleased to announce the addition of Mark Palmer to their membership roster. Mark is a contemporary painter with a rich background in the art world.

As the son of a career artist, exposure to the art world during his formative years was common. His mother was an actress/singer and his father was a portrait artist. He holds a degree in hotel management from Niagara University and began painting in the late 1980’s. The merging of his business experience and art has given him a refined focus on his painting.

In Washington DC, Mark had his first solo show. He was active in and eventually directed the Touchstone Gallery in DC. After this experience he moved to Paducah, KY where he acquired a pre-civil war federal style building and renovated it to become a successful gallery/studio, living space and artist retreat.

Palmer’s work is magical and thought provoking. He says of his work “My work represents that ‘edge’ or if you will ‘fine line’ between control and letting go.”

Come to Fifth Avenue Art Gallery to learn more about Palmer’s work. We look forward to a long and productive partnership.

Fifth Avenue Art Gallery is in the Eau Gallie Arts District in Melbourne. All events are free and open to the public.
