Debora Tweedie, November Featured Artist at Studios of Cocoa Beach

The Studios of Cocoa Beach announces the featured artist for the month of November. Debora Tweedie.  An accomplished nature and marine photographer, Debora taught Marine Biology for 36 years.  Now retired, she continues to experiment with various types of photography and also loves making whimsical fish from palm tree fibers and sandy starfish that use beach sand she has collected from seashores around the world.  Her love of water and marine life is reflected in her work, her art donations to marine causes, and her passion for swimming as a coach for the Viera High School swim team.  One of her assemblages  “FantiSea Fish in a Kelp Forest”  will be awarded to an attendee at the Studios evening reception on November 27, 2017

Debora’s work can be seen daily at the Studios of Cocoa Beach, 165 Minuteman Causeway in downtown Cocoa Beach.  The non profit gallery fetures 25 artists  and offers a full schedule of workshops in a variety of techniques for both adults and children. The Studio is open Monday and Tuesday 10:30am-3:30 pm, Wednesday through Saturday 10:30 am-8pm and Sunday 11 am to 4 pm.
