“Music on Main Street” debuts in downtown Cocoa Beach
Downtown businesses show resilience post-Irma
Come back to the beach with family and friends to enjoy the latest events with Cocoa Beach Main Street and get ready for a rocking good time. Our downtown Friday event series will feature variety of musical talent and genres and will get you into town to visit craft vendors and local shops both new and established,” according to Beth Javens, Executive Director.
Contemporary blues band Big Kettle Drum will return to downtown and Minutemen Causeway. Cocoa Beach Main Street will premiere the music event series on Friday, October 21 at 6pm. “Each Music on Main Street event will feature a variety of musical talent and family friendly activities”, noted Ms. Javens.
While Irma did wreak havoc the downtown is rallying with weekly discounts and specials to lure customers back including Ginger Grapefruit and Rosemary, a new clothing boutique in downtown. Cocoa Beach Brewing Company showed their sense of humor by having a plywood party following the hurricane and served up some brew for those who were handy with a hammer.
