“A photojournalist – Recording the world a different way”
About The Artist:
Rein Geleijnse was born in Rotterdam in the Netherlands in a small old village called Oud Beijerland (founded in 1559).
Rein started out in engineering but soon changed his goal to photojournalism. He established his own advertising agency and provided photos and stories for newspapers and magazines, in the Netherlands, for over 35 years. Rein eventually sold his business and started to take photos in a more casual way. Rein’s photos capture the dreams that everyone has, but reflects the “strange and unusual” in each photo.
Rein is now a “Florida Snowbird”, spending six months in the Netherlands and the USA. He still takes photo assignments when he visits the Netherlands because photography and journalism is an addiction to him, even to this day.
