A Glimpse of Yesteryear

LIGHT UP THE ARTS - As  a teaser for the coming Foosaner Art Museum’s exhibit of the works of Preston Studios this November, the BSO South Guild is holding a “Treat” fund-raiser at the home of Carol Ingram.  Her husband, the late Bruce Ingram, was one of Preston Studio’s earliest enthusiasts, acquiring his first Calla-Lily lamp circa 1981.  In the end his collection totaled 19 original Preston lamps.  This collection is housed in a 1919 Sears Roebuck craftsman (kit) residence on the Indian River in Melbourne Beach filled with antiques and highly collectible beverage signage as the art on the walls.  A truly unique experience.
Tickets to this “teaser’'” are limited – $35 per person.  This will be on Monday, October 24th – if they fill that set of reservations they will book Tuesday October 25th, as well.  If interested get your reservation in ASAP.
