Calling All Brevard County Young Artists!

Recycle Brevard would like to invite Brevard County K-12 students to participate in the 2nd Annual Waste Me Not Recycled Art Show.

The Recycled Art Show will be hosted at The Avenue Viera on November 6, 2016 from 2-5pm and student participation is FREE. Artwork will be judged by STRAWBRIDGE ART LEAGUE. Group submissions accepted. Winning artwork will be at display at THE AVENUE VIERA. Prizes and certificates will be awarded at the event.

With the continued support from The Avenue Viera, Strawbridge Art League, Brevard Public Schools and our other partners, we are looking to receiving more than 100 submissions in 2016 to outnumber the 80 submissions we had in 2015.
This year’s theme is Speaking for our Waters and entries should reflect ways to help with the long term health of our waters, specifically our Indian River Lagoon and the species that call it home.

The show is part of Waste Me Not Projects whose goal is to connect action to reflection and help inspire agents of change. Learn more at www.facebook.com/WasteMeNotProjects.

For information on how to participate, visit RecycleBrevard.org. Registration deadline is Oct. 28 with submissions due on Nov. 5, 2016.
