|Timothy Looks for His Antlers by Jody Carter|
Exhibit dates: May 3-29
"Lost & Found" opened Friday night at Fifth Avenue Art Gallery with awards presented to Jody Carter and Betsy Heath. Carter's "Timothy Looks for His Antlers" won "Most Unified Use of Materials" and Heath was awarded the "Most Creative" for "Reality of X, A Struggle to Hear, See, Speak and Express Oneself." You have until May 29th to stop in and see if you can find all the ingredients in each of the 25 pieces of assemblage art entered in this exhibit. Each of the participating artists was provided with a different set of materials. They had to use everything included to create a work of art. The viewer will get a look at the "kit" each artist started with and the finished artwork. Did they make something marvelous from the mundane?
