Eau Gallie Arts District Spring-Summer Events

With the success of April in Paris, the Eau Gallie Arts District has launched his busy and ambitious spring and summer series of events. Their calendar of events includes EGAD EATS Food Truck & Fun Festivals on the fourth Sundays of each month on Highland Avenue from 5-8 p.m. It’s BYO chair and enjoy the great weather and traveling buffet featuring popular favorites and usually a new truck, too. May 6 First Friday’s theme is “Wine Women and Song” and will feature karaoke in the band shell. Grab your friends, bone up on your dance moves and sing or lip sync your heart out. EGAD encourages duos, groups and solo acts so work on your act now. What a great place to kick off somebody’s bachelorette party.

Travelers, EGAD TOURS is taking the luxury bus to St. Petersburg for the day on Saturday, April 30. Tickets are on sale now at for $75 and include transportation and admission to a privately led tour of the Dali Museum, a bus tour of St. Pete’s incredible murals on Central Avenue, lunch, shopping, and back home in time for your Saturday night plans. If you might only be interested in the transportation, we offer those seats at $45.

June 3 First Friday will feature players from Orlando’s MLS team, The City, and players from the B Team based at Eastern Florida State College. The night is sponsored by Skyzone, a new trampoline indoor amusement center opening in Rockledge. First Friday is always 5:30-8:30 pm and features entertainment, beer and wine, food, and all the fun in the square and along Highland Avenue.

Bigger events happening in EGAD this summer include Big Band in the Band Shell. The Jazz Cats, led by bandleader and trombonist, Joel Greenblatt and guitarist Phil Coe, will make Eau Gallie Square into the hippest joint in town on Saturday, June 4, 2016, at 7 pm. Their repertoire ranges from the sultry sounds of Ella Fitzgerald to the energetic style of The Cherry Poppin' Daddies. Reserved seating on the lawn is just $25 and a VIP Bar, but sponsorships are available that include more of everything. Tickets may be purchased in Eau Gallie at select retail locations or at the EGAD office. Tickets may also be purchased and held at will call. Details are on the website – There’s free Standing Room Only section behind the live oak and red velvet ropes, but still has its own “riff raff” bar.
