Exhibit by Sherry Gorey at the Eau Gallie Library in January

Sherry Gorey is presenting the January exhibit at the Eau Gallie Library on Pineapple. There are 27 pieces on 5 walls throughout the library. Most are watercolor, including watercolor batiks on rice paper, several pastels, and one acrylic.

One of the paintings, Her Father’s Hand, won last February’s Harmony Farms merit award at the Brevard Watercolor Society’s SPLASH show, and the same painting was published in last year’s Richeson’s portrait show catalog for meritorious mention.

Another piece in the show, Bob (a bobcat,) received a merit award at last year’s Merritt Island Wildlife Association BWS show.

She is a member of the Brevard Watercolor Society, the Strawbridge Art League, and a juried member of the Southern Arizona Watercolor Guild. Several entries are representative of Arizona’s Sonoran Desert and Tucson’s barrios.
