In this 8 week class, you will learn everything an artist needs to know for a about Color: spectrum, primary, analogous, neutral, pastel, intensity, shades. Complementary colors: how they contrast, and how they may be mixed to yield less intense colors. Everything about this class is fun, and you don’t have to be good at drawing to enjoy it. You will make a Color Wheel to use as a guide throughout the class. Among your projects are to: Paint a motif repeated in different color schemes, an analogous water color seascape, and a bold graphic design.
Course runs from Wed. Sept 2- Wed. Oct. 21, from 1:30-3:3pm. Tuition plus materials fee is 120./ 8 weeks.
