The Camera Club of Brevard will hold its next meeting on Tuesday, September 1, 2015, at 6:30 p.m. at the Eau Gallie Civic Center, 1551 Highland Ave. in historic Eau Gallie. September’s program will be “Questions and Answers.” Do you have a question about any aspect of photography that you crave the answer to? You’re probably not alone. Members of the club have submitted written questions to the club for September’s program. Each of these questions was assigned a knowledgeable member to answer it at the meeting. Questions cover topics such as workflow (the sequence and process of downloading, storing, editing, and post-processing photos), what is hyperfocal distance and how do you use it, how does one take milky waterfall photos, how do you blur the background, how do you resize a photo without distorting it, what does Lightroom offer that Photoshop Elements doesn’t, and more. This will be a meeting at which probably everyone will learn multiple new things about photography.
The August photo contest theme was “Farm Fresh.” Winners are shown above. The September photo contest theme is “Storms.” Members may submit one photograph to the contest. The CCB meets the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Eau Gallie Civic Center, 1551 Highland Ave. in historic Eau Gallie. Guests are welcome to attend.
