The Eau Gallie Arts District Main Street (EGAD!) celebrates every First Friday of the month and on
August 7 from 6:30-9:30pm, you are invited to bring your dog, preferably in costume, to DOG DAYS
OF SUMMER. Along with live music from Oranga Tanga in the band shell and arts and crafts vendors
in Eau Gallie Square, our annual fun dog show will feature a contest with confirmed celebrity judges
including Rebecca Shireman (Space Coast Living); Kelly Delmonico (City of Melbourne), Wendy Noke
(Sea World Rescue); Suzy Leonard (Florida Today); and Angelica Kincade (Drag Queen).
Enjoy dinner at one of EGAD’s restaurants or ribs from JR’S Rib Shack along with hot dogs and ice
cream. Beer and wine are available in the park and all vendors take cash and credit cards. The
celebration in Eau Gallie Square is free and open to the public. Stroll along historic Highland Avenue
to see what’s happening in the shops and galleries and to see what whimsical water bowls the
merchants have provided.
Also, don't forget that First Friday highlights the Art Walk where all the galleries have opening receptions for new exhibits. Be sure to stop by.

Public parking is on Highland Avenue, the city lot on Guava Ave and St. Clair Street, and on Pineapple
Avenue between Montreal Ave and Eau Gallie Boulevard. Bring Fido and the rest of the pack down
for hot summer fun. Hours are 6:30-9:30p.m. There is an ATM across the street from the square.
