The Camera Club of Brevard will hold its next meeting on Tuesday, July 7, 2015, at 6:30 p.m. at the Eau Gallie Civic Center, 1551 Highland Ave. in historic Eau Gallie. The program will be a review of the Four Corners Challenge contest photos, both from our club’s members and those of the Cannock Photographic Society in Cannock, England, one of the top photographic clubs in the U.K. This will be a Four Corners review like you have not seen before. And there will be an announcement of the first place winner of the special “Color” photo contest Marilyn Cook, last month's presenter, challenged us to.
The CCB held its June meeting on Tuesday, June 2, 2015. Marilyn Cook, an artist and educator at Eastern Florida State College, was the program presenter. Marilyn presented "Color in Photography," in which she discussed color theory and how you can use color to compose powerful photographs.
The June photo contest theme was “Birds.” Winners are shown above. The July photo contest theme is “Texture.” Members may submit one photograph to the contest. The CCB meets the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Eau Gallie Civic Center, 1551 Highland Ave. in historic Eau Gallie. Guests are welcome to attend.
