The Camera Club of Brevard held its monthly meeting on Tuesday, May 5. Mike Brown, a photojournalist for 30 years and one of the world's best photographers of NASA and other rocket launches, presented "What it Takes to be a Photojournalist, Yesterday and Today," discussing photojournalism and how it has changed over the years. The May photo contest theme was “The Water’s Edge.” Winners are shown above.
The CCB will hold its June meeting on Tuesday, June 2, 2015, at 6:30 p.m. at the Eau Gallie Civic Center, 1551 Highland Ave. in historic Eau Gallie. Marilyn Cook, an artist and educator at Eastern Florida State College, will be June’s program presenter. Marilyn will present "Color in Photography." She'll discuss color theory, and how you can use color to compose powerful photographs. The June photo contest theme is “Birds.” Members may submit one photograph to the contest. The CCB meets the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Eau Gallie Civic Center, 1551 Highland Ave. in historic Eau Gallie. Guests are welcome to attend.
