The Camera Club of Brevard will hold its May meeting on Tuesday, May 5, 2015, at 6:30 p.m. at the Eau Gallie Civic Center, 1551 Highland Ave. in historic Eau Gallie. The club is proud to have Mike Brown as its May program presenter. Mike has been a photojournalist for more than 35 years, and has photographed almost every rocket and shuttle launch over this time period. His program will show you historical local and regional photographs spanning more than three decades from taking photographs for Florida Today and other venues.
Photojournalism has certainly changed over the years. Come to the May program meeting, see some great photographs, learn the story behind them, and see how the world of photojournalism has changed from yesterday to today.
The May photo contest theme is “The Water’s Edge.” Members may submit one photograph to the contest. The CCB meets the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Eau Gallie Civic Center, 1551 Highland Ave. in historic Eau Gallie. Guests are welcome to attend.
