The Camera Club of Brevard held its monthly meeting on Tuesday, April 7. The program was by Wallace Weeks, an extraordinary travel photographer, who showed us how to transform so-so travel photos into stunning travel photos through the use of post processing. The photo competition theme was open, and a Creative Class competition was also held. The winners are shown above.
The May 5th program will feature Mike Brown. Mike has been a photojournalist for 30 years, and is one of the world's best photographers of NASA and other rocket missions. Mike's presentation, "What it Takes to be a Photojournalist, Yesterday and Today," will discuss photojournalism and how it has changed over the years. He will also exhibit some great photographs and detail their capture and use. The May photo contest theme is “The Water’s Edge.” Members may submit one photograph to the contest.
The CCB meets the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm at the Eau Gallie Civic Center, 1551 Highland Ave. in historic Eau Gallie. Guests are welcome to attend. For more information see www.ccbrevard.org.
