Dog Days of Summer Exhibit, Pet Rescue, Book Signings


Dog Days of Summer Exhibit –August 1 – August 29, 2014 at Art and Antique Gallery, 1419 Highland Avenue– 321-253-25553.   Opening Reception – Eau Gallie Art Walk: Friday, August 1st - 6:30 – 9:30pm.  Light refreshments and beverages will be provided. 



Meet and Greet Author Darryl L. Gentry – Let the Good Times Roll: birth of rock n roll – 1955 – 1963 is about songs, the singers , the stories that take you on a documented journey back to 1955 to learn how rhythm & blues and rockabilly became the first and last music teenagers called their own.



Meet and Greet Five Time Author Linda Jump - Ethan Egret's Family Album, a children's book designed for 4 to 8 year olds to teach them about Great Egrets; The Lighting of the Acolyte, a book of church bloopers; From Memories to Memoir Using the Jump Start Method, designed to assist adults in writing their life story; and Voices of Experience, a book of life stories from 26 students)



Art and Antique Gallery is proud to partner with the “Pawsitive Hope” Thrift Store to make the “Dog Days” exhibit opening show extra special.   “Hope Pet Rescue” fosters homeless animals and assists residents in need of help for spay/neuter and other medical care expenses. Pet lovers are encouraged to stop by the Pawsitive Hope table during the August 1, First Friday Art Walk in EGAD. View the board of adoptable pets and maybe fall in love.
