Art Gallery of Viera is pleased to present Linda Krupp as the featured artist for June. The Opening Reception of “Celebrate Brevard” at Art Gallery of Viera will be June 14, 2014 from 6-9 pm and will also feature art renditions of member artist, Linda Krupp.
In 1974, Linda Krupp moved to Brevard County, where she began and ended her 35 year career as an educator. You could say she traded the book for the brush!
Although she began painting in watercolor, oil is her favorite medium with both the brush and palette knife. Linda has a penchant for preserving the past: old barns, buildings, and landscapes that are relics from her childhood growing up in rural North Carolina. She has also tried to capture the beauty of Brevard – its scenic waterways, foliage, and clouds. Although Linda paints mostly landscapes, she enjoys trying her hand at portraits. Art, in one form or another, has always been a part of who she is, and she looks forward to many more years of experimenting, learning, and growing as an artist.
Linda resides in Titusville with husband, Michael, where she serves as president of the Titusville Art League and a member of The Downtown Gallery.
