2nd Annual EGAD in Bloom



The Eau Gallie Art's District will explode with Color the weekend of MARCH 29-30 during the 2nd annual EGAD in Bloom Flower and Garden Festival.  Gardening to flowers, jazz and food, and speakers on subjects from Butterfly Gardening to Why Bats are good for your Garden will fill the weekend in The Eau Gallie Art's District. Come talk to a certified arborist about the right tree for your yard.  Artists will display everything from paintings to quilts to jewelry that depict Flowers!

>Saturday March 29th and Sunday March 30th 10 am till 4 pm Flower and Garden related vendors will offer for sale succulents, orchids, annuals, tropical fruit trees, flowering trees and
more along Highland Avenue, north of Eau Gallie Boulevard.

>The Foosaner Art Museum will be open for a FREE exhibit of art by Langdon Kihn:  An American Story, who is known for portraits of Native Americans, with accompanying master floral art.  Free flower and garden related demonstrations will take place in the Eau Gallie Civic Center and Artists will be painting along Highland Avenue completing floral paintings.  Stroll further down Highland and see the display of petunias, the official Eau Gallie Flower since 1932.

>Sunday March 30th Champagne Jazz Brunch 11:30am till 2 pm at the Eau Gallie Civic Center.  The brunch will feature hands on demonstrations by local Master floral designer Link Johnsten of Eau Gallie Florist and artist Heather Evert.  Table setting vignette's will be created by local Brevard artists and hostesses.  **Tickets are $50.00 per person general and Sponsor tickets $100.00 per person.

>A Silent Auction will be on display at the Eau Gallie Civic Center on March 29th from 10 am till 4 pm and March 30th from 10 am till 3 pm.

>This event is a fundraiser for EGAD, whose mission is to  promote the arts, historic preservation and the economic revitalization of the old Eau Gallie downtown area.
