New Classes with Betsy Heath

Local multi-media artist and instructor Betsy Heath is expanding her Mosaic Arts classes and introducing a whole new line of instruction in a variety of mediums. 4th Weekend Recycle Project Saturday 10am - 4pm Feb. 22
This is a condensed weekend program that will help you take parts of anything you have that you just can’t throw away to create something. You bring in the main piece and recreate it into something fantastic! Not sure...stop by and talk to Betsy and let her give you an idea and help turn it in to reality.
Class is $75. Please bring your own tools and/or supplies or they will be available to purchase.

Mondays are Fundays!!! 10am -1pm & so are Tuesdays! 10am-1pm starting Feb 24 & 25
Each week you’ll be exposed to a new medium to add to a project to form a final sculpture. Bring pictures of your pets, family members or anything that inspires you. You’ll be guided in how to transpose the image into a piece of multimedia 3D artwork. No experience necessary. Come and open your creative mind and explore all kinds of media. Select either a Monday or Tuesday class for $130 for 6 weeks, or join me for both Monday and Tuesday  classes for $195 for  6 weeks.

Mold It!  Monday, March 3rd 2pm - 5pm
Learn how to make an inexpensive silicon mold material from household items and make multiple images of your favorite things. Great for making doo-dahs for jewelry, scrapbooking, assemblage art, or sprucing up any artwork. Your final pieces can be made from Sculpty, plastic or Hydrocal.   Class is $35 a small sample of product is included.

HYPERTUFA Saturday, March 8th 10am - 1pm
Popular for making garden ornaments, pots and sculptural forms. Hypertufa is lighter than concrete or terracotta and able to withstand living outdoors.  Hypertufa class by guest instructor from Sarasota, Susan Woodle will be Sat. March 8th 10am - 1pm. You will go home with small planters or hands or leaves and have a blast learning this new technique. This 3 hr. class will be limited in size, so reserve your space. $40 covers class and most supplies.
