Drawing the Light at the Fifth Avenue Art Gallery

Exhibit runs: February 4 to March 2

Opening Reception: February 7 from 5:30 to 8:30


Drawing with Light is a juried photography exhibition at the Fifth Avenue Art Gallery. 45 photographers responded with 135 images and 28 were chosen. The images run the gamut of photographic techniques from landscape to portraiture to abstract to high dynamic range images and more.

The show runs from February 4th to March 2nd with the opening on First Friday in Eau Gallie Arts District on February 7 from 5:30 to 8:30. During the opening, awards in the following categories will be presented:  1st place award of $300 given by Southern Janitorial, 2nd place award of  $200  from Southern Photo, 3rd place award of $100 from Ridley's Custom Framing  and an Honorable Mention of $50  from Art Expressions.    Judging of the images and selection of prizes winners will be performed by two judges not associated with the Fifth Avenue Art Gallery, Marilyn Cook and Lloyd Behrendt.

The Fifth Avenue Art Gallery, the premier member gallery in Brevard County, was established in 1975. It is artist owned and operated. The gallery is located in, the Eau Gallie Arts District of Melbourne, across the street from the Foosaner Art Museum.
