Melbourne Main Street would like to invite you to apply for its 20th annual Fall Festival of arts, music and tantalizing foods! It all happens the first weekend of October, 2013! Check out the options below, and even if you don't want to be in the show, you may want to spend a weekend enjoying all that Downtown Melbourne, Florida has to offer! Tree lined streets host some of the best shopping and restaurants the east coast has to offer, and only minutes from the beach, it's a weekend of fun and relaxation!
"The Fine Art Promenade"Up to 150 fine artists will display their visions and convey messages while competing for prizes and prestige in our annual downtown Melbourne Main Street Fall Festival! Centered down the core retail district on East New Haven Ave., these juried artists will share prize money and patron purchases. 10' x10' Booth Fee: $265 / $215, Application Fee: $32.
OR..."Artisans on the Avenue"Just across the railroad tracks, between 60-70 artisans will display decorative arts and crafts, vintage creations and hand-embellished goods. No competing for prizes, just fun, relaxation and opportunities to sell your unique goods to an expected crowd of 30K - 50K including patron purchases! This portion of the show is on Depot Rd. and for the first time will welcome mobile art studios! 10' x 10' Space Fee: $106, Application Fee: $32.
The Pod SquadThis year Melbourne Main Street has enlisted the help of a dedicated artist support team referred to as "The Pod Squad," named for the configuration of booths into "pods" in the Fine Art Promenade portion of the festival. The Pod Squad will be identified by red and black t-shirts and will be there helping artists all weekend in both the Fine Art Promenade and the Artisans on the Avenue, with everything from booth setup to booth-sitting. The Pod Squad will be responsible for all aspects of the art show portions of the Fall Festival and is happy to answer any art show related questions via e-mail or phone 321-541-0192.
