Meike Aton will exhibit twenty-five of her paintings in the internationally renowned town of Bad Salzhausen, Germany. The exhibit runs from August 24 through October 12, 2013. The gallery, known as the Gallery Schramm, specializes in Asian-Western cultural connections, and always features one Asian and one Western Artist. Meike is this session’s Western representative.
The Gallery was especially interested in Meike’s work for its colorful vibrancy, lively presentation, and varied topics. Tropical landscapes, northern forests, florals and abstracts will be represented. Bad Salzhausen, in addition to being an art haven, is a well-known destination for international visitors seeking treatment for rare medical conditions. This is Meike’s first international show. Her website (www.meikeaton.com) contains further information and photographs of the paintings in the exhibit.
