Melbourne, FL—Eleven members of the Wednesday Group of local artists are exhibiting their work at the Eau Gallie Public Library for the month of May. The works include paintings, photographs, paper sculpture, collage and quilting.
The Wednesday Group are artists who meet weekly to share ideas, techniques, and information about upcoming shows and events. Supportive of the Brevard County arts community, as well as each other, they attend and participate in shows, lectures, art events and exhibitions.
Members exhibiting at the library are Nellie Brannan, Carol Egan, Rene Griffith, Marg Kuhl, Pat Lee, Barbara Leto, Carol Luntz, Melinda Meers, Loretta Schnitzius, Nancy Seib and Jean Thomas. Their artwork is available for sale by contacting the individual artists. A percentage of sales will go to the Friends of the Eau Gallie Library fund.
The Eau Gallie Public Library is in the Eau Gallie Arts District of Melbourne, at 1521 Pineapple Avenue. The artwork can be seen there during regular library hours.
The show will continue until May 31.
