The creative bronze pieces and beautiful icons are a result of Lucille’s early start with creativity. Right from the start-she was happiest when she brought into play her imagination and began creating “objects”. Her thought-provoking bronze sculptures and paintings are refreshing objects to everyone. They leave you with the feeling of, “how can they be so grounded, but beautiful to the touch." Her objective is to create beauty through form and balance which invites the viewer to touch and move about her sculptures.
Lucille has a number of Icons included in the Museum of Russian Icons in Clinton, MA, served as Art Director for the Aurora, CO “Master Pieces” city-wide community art project involving several hundred people, and she founded and owned the AMP Fine Art Gallery in Colorado which featured and promoted local Artists, Musicians, and Poets (AMP). Lucille has also worked as an artist/instructor with a broad spectrum of people including gifted children, Alzheimer’s patients, special needs adults, and dyslexic students. Morse is currently working through the Charles Bargue Drawing Course with a personal goal of increasing her ability to express her creative ideas with more intensity. Morse earned a BFA from Metropolitan State College, CO and has exhibited her work locally and nationally in several juried art shows.
