Anne Dalton comes from Ft. Myers, FL. She presented a similar 'highly interactive' session last September at the well-known, Florida Watercolor Society Exhibit and Tradeshow in Orlando, Florida, and was very well received! This session will give you the answers you've been seeking about protecting your valuable artwork and more!
Anne Dalton has a general law and mediation practice with a particular emphasis on creative arts and entertainment law. She works hard to provide high-quality and affordable general legal advisory services as well as situation-specific advice to artists.
She assists with negotiation and drafting of all types of contracts and licenses for artists and others, rights clearances and Internet copyright issues, in addition to assisting with estate planning and business formation unique to artists.
She teaches self-help low-cost workshops to educate artists in copyright and business matters at a variety of locations. She currently serves as Vice President for Legal Affairs for the Southwest Florida Arts Council (a group of 18 arts organizations with over 6,750 members in southwest Florida) and Legal Counsel to the Greater Brandon Arts Council.
Her 35 years of legal experience includes such diverse employers as Radio City Music Hall, ABC Network News “20/20,” and New York City’s Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts. She is licensed in Florida, New York and PA.
