Brevard County Non-Profit Arts groups can now RSVP for a free training session with the Arts and Cultural Alliance of Central Florida at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, May 3, 2013 at the Historical Henegar Center in Downtown Melbourne. Attendees will receive information on the free programs available to all non-profit arts groups including event promotion, a community database, volunteer program and more.
The training results from a partnership with Arts and Cultural Alliance of Central Florida, Melbourne Main Street, Inc., the Henegar Center for the Arts and the Brevard Cultural Alliance.
The training is free; attendees may consider bringing a laptop to access the wifi for hands-on training with the Red Chair Project website.
Following the training, attendees can also network at "Kentucky Derby Themed" lunch at Matt’s Casbah next door to the Henegar Center. Lunch will cost $20 per person inclusive for a soup, salad and sandwich buffet. Lunch activities will also include a "Derby Days" fashion show and hat contest.
The Henegar Center is located at 625 E New Haven Ave #119, Melbourne, FL 32908. Parking is free.
