Rene Griffith Photographs Selected for Applebee's Renovation

Applebee's Mural

Melbourne, FL—Several photographs by local photographer and Fifth Avenue Art Gallery member, Rene Griffith, have been used in Applebee's restaurant renovation. The restaurant is located at 3001 W. Eau Gallie Blvd. and Wickham Road intersection.

The restaurant was looking for scenes and photos of local residents to be used in several murals in its makeover. Two of Rene's photos of Sebastian Inlet were used in the murals and one photo of a Melbourne Beach pier and boathouse at sunset was used as a standalone piece. “It was exciting to walk in and see my work on their walls,” said Rene on the day of their grand re-opening February 21. “I've also submitted new work for their current Panama City, Florida remodel project and their Palm Bay restaurant.”

Rene has a studio in Indialantic and travels throughout Florida and the US to photograph nature and landscapes. She is an active member of Fifth Avenue Art Gallery located in the Eau Gallie Arts District (EGAD) of Melbourne. She also licenses her images to fine art publishers and manufacturers in the US and Canada. To see more of her work, visit her website at www.renegriffith.com.
