Watercolorist Therese Ferguson Featured September Artist at Palm Bay Library

Therese Ferguson exhibits her exciting watercolors during September on the walls of Palm Bay Library.  She is a local gal, living in the Eau Gallie area since the age of 3. Growing up in our tropical climate has influenced her subjects, ranging from charming front porches, flowers full of life, and wildlife, to bold and colorful still lifes. Ferguson is a popular watercolor instructor here in Brevard County, teaching classes through the Brevard County Adult Education at Florida Marketplace in Melbourne, Satellite Beach Recreation Department and in the Courtyard Studio, Eau Gallie. She has exhibited locally as well as in national art shows and has won many top awards. Ferguson is a Signature Member of the Florida Watercolor Society, a member of the Southern Watercolor Society and the Brevard Watercolor Society. Her work can be seen in many locations around the county through the BCA as well as the Art & Antique Studio in downtown Eau Gallie at 1419 Highland Avenue.  


The library is located at 1520 Port Malabar Blvd. N.E.; turn at Santiago Road (across from the Community Center) and the library is adjacent to Turkey Creek Sanctuary.  Hours are:  Monday & Tuesday 9-5 pm, Wednesday 12-8 pm, Thursday & Friday 9-5 pm, CLOSED weekends.  Art for is sale through the artist.  E- Mail:  theresefergusonartworks.com
