Indian River Potters' Guild offers classes in pottery, sculpture, fused glass and mosaics

Indian River Pottersʼ Guild expands educational program to include classes in pottery, sculpture, fused glass and mosaics.

Indian River Pottersʼ Guild is offering new courses in fused glass and mosaics to expand the spectrum of visual arts instruction at the studio. Classes in wheel thrown/handbuilt pottery and sculpture have been filled to capacity, requiring the addition of more options to the schedule. Students have been extremely pleased with the level of instruction and attention given to them in the working classroom. They have also been impressed with the facility and equipment available to all.

“Classes in fused glass and mosaics are a wonderful addition to our program”, shares IRPG Director, Valerie Karas. “Creative people enjoy venturing into other forms of artistic expression. We are thrilled to offer these classes, because the instructors are some of the best in Brevard, and we hope to share our studio and the arts with other students of the visual arts.”

The new course schedule will begin the week of August 5th. Class description and times may be found on the studioʼs website: www.indianriverpotters.com.

Students are encouraged to register in advance, as class size is limited.

Indian River Pottersʼ Guild is a ceramic art studio located in the Eau Gallie Arts District.

Classes are open to adults and mature teens. The studio provides opportunities to explore the visual arts through classes and memberships.
