Eau Gallie Arts District’s First Friday Art Walk


 April 6, 2012    5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

First Friday Art Walk:  5:30-8:30pm, Highland Ave.and Eau Gallie Blvd.
Looking for a great evening?.....Stroll the Art Walk and visit shops and galleries, the Foosaner Museum, fantastic restaurants, listen to live music by  Buck Barefoot and look at the art in the park.

Exhibitions include:
'SHAKEN NOT STIRRED' Show Closing Party EGAD Art Lab, 1405 Highland Ave. Melbourne.
The Fifth Avenue Art Gallery invites you to join them for the opening of the exhibit, "Dimensions'. Artist Judy Edwards will be displaying an intriguing and colorful body of traditional encaustic work. 
A Nod To The East by Glass Artist  Rhonda Leonard at The Art & Antiques Studio and Gallery in Eau Gallie.

The Eau Gallie area of Melbourne was recently designated as the Arts District of Melbourne and a Florida Main Street Community. The district includes the Brevard Art Museum, administrative offices of the Brevard Symphony Orchestra and Jr. League of South Brevard, the Historic Rossetter House Museum and Gardens, the Eau Gallie Riverfront Library, Eau Gallie Civic Center, two public parks, band shell and a newly rebuilt fishing pier. EGAD contains art galleries,art supply stores, artist studios, a B&B and many small merchants and restaurants. The Eau Gallie Farmers’ Market is held each Saturday in Eau Gallie Square Park from 8 am – 2 pm and Wednesday from Noon-6pm. The city of Melbourne has re-zoned a residential area within EGAD such that artist may establishstudios in their home, providing a special enclave for working artists.! Enjoy artist displays in the Eau Gallie Square.
