Resident Artists Open Studio to Public for Spring Sale, Show Horse Creek Pottery in Melbourne Showcases Unique Talent

Melbourne, Fla – A Hidden Treasure among Brevard’s burgeoning arts community, HorseCreek Pottery and its 10 resident potters are opening
their studio doors to the public for a rare on-site show and sale March 24 and 25th from 10:00 am until 4 pm. The Spring show includes hand-crafted, distinctive clay work to behold, and useful pieces to use and enjoy every day.

Secluded off the West side of US 1 just North of Pineda Causeway, Horse Creek is a veritable trove of sculptural and functional clay and mixed media pieces, including the black and white Asian-inspired styles of Camille Thompson, the signature spirit houses of Carol Evans, and the nature-inspired bowls, platters and iconic mugs of Lisa Shepperd. The artists can create their unique works thanks to the collectively nurtured facilities at Horse Creek, which boast gas-soda, wood-fired and
electric kilns.

See sample pieces of more of the artists, and learn more about Horse Creek at horsecreekpottery.blogspot.com. The studio is located at 6390 Anderson Way, Melbourne, FL 32940. Call 321-242-2162 for more information.
