Garrick’s black-and-white images document the re-construction of the iconic Parthenon in Athens, Greece. Garrick was privileged to be the only American allowed by the Greek Ephorate of Antiquities to photograph this hallowed building from the roof and scaffolding during the re-building. In unique photographs, Garrick captures the city of Athens from the roof of the Parthenon.  Other prints show workmen re-assembling marble fragments, discovered and reclaimed by archaeologists, to be placed back in their original position.  Several of the images are printed with a unique new process in which the image is printed directly onto an aluminum alloy. Traditional print photography will be exhibited as well.

Dinner with the Artist will be held on the eve of the opening, at 5:30 pm, at Concepts on Highland Restaurant in the Historic Eau Gallie Arts District. Chef Grant will prepare the perfect meal to accompany good conversation with Josh Garrick and the art enthusiasts. Reservations required. Call the EGAD! Art Lab to reserve a place at the table.(321) 610-7987.
