The Fifth Avenue Art Gallery invites you to join us for the opening of the exhibit, "Dimensions'. Artist Judy Edwards will be displaying an intriguing and colorful body of traditional encaustic work, as well as encaustic monotype prints. The theme of her exhibit revolves around the concept that often times it is how we look at things that determines our view of reality. You only have to look a little further to expand our possibilities. Encaustics is an ancient, archival medium, utilizing beeswax, pigment, heat and sometimes resin.
The exhibit runs from April 6th through April 30th. Visit with the artist as you peruse the artwork and enjoy light refreshments. The reception is free and open to the public. Afterwards continue your stroll down the street to enjoy dinner and other shops, and galleries, as well as the Foosaner Art Musuem.
