The district includes the Brevard Art Museum, administrative offices of the Brevard Symphony Orchestra and Jr. League of South Brevard, the Historic Rossetter House Museum and Gardens, the Eau Gallie Riverfront Library, Eau Gallie Civic Center, two public parks, band shell and a newly rebuilt fishing pier. EGAD contains art galleries, art supply stores, artist studios, a B&B and many small merchants and restaurants. The Eau Gallie Farmers’ Market is held each Saturday in Eau Gallie Square Park from 8 am – 2 pm. The city of Melbourne has re-zoned a residential area within EGAD such that artist may establish studios in their home, providing a special enclave for working artists.
