
Indian River Potters' Guild Call for Ceramics Entries
2010 Inaugural Juried Gallery Expo

All functional, scultpural and conceptual ceramic work honoring the drinking vessel is welcome!
In celebration of the rich history of drinking vessels, the Indian River Potters' Guild invites artists in the ceramic community in the Brevard and Indian River Counties to participate in our first open event, Cinco de Mug-O.
From ancient Greek kylikes, to German steins, British teacups, Japanese teabowls, and modern mugs, they all share the same intimate function, quenching the thirst of the holder!
Works submitted must be originals by the artist, and may not exceed 10 inches in any direction. All pieces must be for sale.
No entry fee. The IRPG will retain 40% commission on any sold artwork. Entries must be submitted with this Invitation/Inventory sheet and each work labeled with item number, price and artist's initials.
There is no limit to number of entries per artist, but if more than five entries are supplied - the IRPG cannot guarantee that all pieces will be on display after opening night.

Entries may be delivered to the IRPG at 1542 Guava Avenue on May 3rd,4th, and 5th from 10am - 6pm. Opening night is Friday, May 7th, as part of the Eau Gallie Arts District First Friday Art Walk events and will remain on display until Friday, May 28th.
The IRPG is not responsible for unintentional loss or breakage of work while on display. Voting for the People's Choice Award will take place only on Opening Night, May 7th, 2010.
